Video: 40 years of soil research
For 40 years (1979 - 2019), we have been engaged in soil research. The Institute of Soil Biology is part of the Biology Centre, one of the major institutions of the Czech Academy of Sciences . We apply our knowledge systematically to different branches of soil biology from the level of single molecules up to the entire ecosystems. Through this we hope to get an insight into this complex living system and the processes of its development.
What we do for a soil research is presented in a short video, that was made on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the first soil biology laboratory. Later it became the Institute of Soil Biology, Biology Centre, Czech Academy of Sciences.
