Martin Kváč was appointed Professor
Martin Kváč, a head of the Laboratory of Veterinary and Medical Protistology of the Institute of Parasitology, BC CAS, was appointed Professor. The Document of Appointment was handed over by the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Stanislav Štech on 23 June 2017 in the Great Hall of Carolinum in Prague.
Martin Kváč was appointed at the proposal of the Scientific Board of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. In his work he focuses on the study of endoparasites of farm and wild animals, especially cryptosporidia, microsporidia and giardia. At the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of South Bohemia he lectures on Veterinary Parasitology, Hygiene and Prevention of Diseases in Farm Animals and Animal Health Protection.
