What to do if...

…come with a baby?

This circumstance must already be taken into consideration within the process of applying for visa etc. before the arrival to CR itself, therefore is communicated individually beforehand with our HR specialist for foreigners.

…come with parents?

…come with a pet (dog, cat)?

…need insurance for family members (third country)?

…become pregnant?

First thing you need to do is going to your gynaecologist (see Medical Services) and he/she will instruct you on further steps. In the CR, you are entitled to get maternity and parental leave and benefits (after meeting certain conditions in connection with your participation in the insurance system), more in Child Birth.

…need to legalize documents?

This greatly depends on the purpose of documents' legalization and the authority for which you need it.

As for documents required to start work here at Biology Centre, our HR specialist for foreigners will help you with that.

…need a domestic service (reparation, reconstruction, ...)?
