CAEPO
CAEPO
The Centre builds on the previous CEPO project and brings together key academic and industrial entities in the Czech Republic that focus on research in electron, photon and quantum technologies. The Centre's activities will promote research excellence and application relevance of academic partners with a focus on improving knowledge transfer to industrial partners. These partners are brought together in the fields of electron and light microscopy, spectroscopy, advanced lasers and their applications, opto-fibre sensors and probes, micro- and nanostructured surfaces, optical elements, ultra-sensitive detection at the frontier of physical principles, ultra-precision metrology for manufacturing processes and the development of advanced components and systems. This synergy will increase the added value of the results for industrial partners, enabling two thirds of them to move towards world leadership and one third to stay at this cutting edge level. The project is co-funded by public funds from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Competence Centre Programme and funded under the National Recovery Plan by the European Instrument for Recovery and Resilience.
