Others

My research focuses on the evolution, phylogeny and developmental biology of myxozoans, highly reduced cnidarian parasites. I use molecular biology and phylogenetic methods to investigate their unique adaptations and evolutionary trajectories. Currently, I am focusing on the characterisation and functional analysis of the Notch signalling pathway in myxozoans and its role in their development.
