Enrolment of students into courses - year 2011/2012

There is an ongoing enrolment of students into courses for the winter and summer semesters 2011/2012.

Offered courses:

• Transgenesis and its application in plants,
• Physical methods in ecology - System analysis of fluxes of energy and matter in ecosystem,
• Physical methods in ecology - Chlorophyll fluorescence in vivo,
• Modern methods in circadian biology,
• Basic methods of molecular biology,
• Advanced methods of molecular biology,
• Molecular analysis of populations,
• Methods for the detection of plant pathogens,
• Spectroscopy - Stable isotopes in biology and ecology,
• Spectroscopy - Fluorescence and radioisotope methods in microbial ecology,
• Spectroscopy - Analytical methods and mass spectrometry.

Courses will be finished by written or oral tests. In order to obtain a certificate of graduation of the course (in Czech and English language), it is necessary to pass a minimum of two courses. In addition to certificate, graduates may obtain also:

• three credits in the doctoral program for each completed course,
• allowance for attendance at some scientific conference in the EU,
• participation in the International PhD Course "Insect and Biotechnology” in Italy.
