Dr. Adrien Fónagy is working at Plant Protection Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Science and Dr. Szlanka is an employee of Biological Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Science. Both researchers are cooperating with laboratories of Dr. Žurovec (Laboratory of Molecular Genetics) and Dr. Kodrík (Laboratory of Insect Physiology).
- Two project participants from BCAS are actually learning new methods and approaches at partnering institutions. Dr. Sidorov is on a 1 month stay at Biological Research Centre of Hungarian Academy of Sciences in laboratory of Dr. Istvan Kiss in Hungary. The other stay is planned as a short-term visit of Dr. Koloniuk to Dr. Raa van der Vlugt at Plant Research International in Netherlands.
- Methodological workshop “Luminex´s xMAP multiplexing technology for detection of biological markers“ will be organized on February 2, 2012. The seminar should introduce new approaches for efficient exploitation of instrument BioPlex 200 that was purchased as a part of equipment that helped to increase research potential of Biology centre.
- Project team is organizing a meeting in Prague on February 10, 2012 to support preparation of international ITN project in frame of Marie Curie actions. Representatives of institutes that will form future consortium will meet and discuss conceptual issues related to project proposal.
